Osteria Basilico has been established since 1992. It is extremely popular with local residents, business people and families.
Friendly service with a buzzy athmoshere, all in a typical rustic Italian Osteria settings, matched by home cooking like you would expect to eat in Italy is the key to the success of the restaurant.
For the menu the greatest care is taken by the chef in choosing the freshest ingredients according to season. The home made buffet, pizzas and pastas are a good choice for vegetarians.
Booking a table is strongly recommended. No bookings are taken for Saturday lunch. N.B. please book by telephone rather than email.
Essenza and Mediterraneo our sister restaurants are located in the same street, and they are a good alternative if we are full.
